We have a lovely Grade 2 Listed Arts and Crafts Church Hall at St. James’ and St. Basil’s.
The main hall is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, and the toilets include baby changing facilities. The Church hall has a stage, a large kitchen and is suitable for groups of up to 100 people. The Meeting Room is a separate space suitable for smaller groups of up to 10. The hall is currently used by a number of community groups including the local Cubs and Scouts, Zumba and Fitness Classes, Drama Group, and The Local History Society. It is also home to two local businesses.

We will review your request and get back in touch within two working days. Payment for hire charges will be pre-authorised at the time of requesting a booking and will be processed once we accept your request.
The Hall closes at 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 10pm on a Friday and Saturday.
We offer discounts on our standard hire charge for Registered Charities and Regular bookings. please email admin@jamesbasilfenham.org.uk to find out more.
Please note, we no longer accept cash payment for Church Hall bookings.



The Parish Church Hall was built around 1931, probably by E E Lofting. The Hall is single storey and built of Sandstone with Lakeland slate roof tiles.
