St. James’ and St. Basil’s Church Fenham is a magnificent venue for music making and we are working hard to make the church a musical hub for our region. We have a number of concert series made up of Master Musicians, local Heroes, Jazz and Organ recitals.
Also known as Saturday Classics, Master Musicians hosts piano, violin and guitar recitals by classical performers from all around the world. Come and enjoy these amazing Concerts at J’s and B’s, demonstrating our kawai grand piano at it’s best!

In 2019 we featured two national poll winners. Alan Barnes won top place for alto sax in the British jazz awards and Zoe Gilby for best vocalist in the Parliamentary jazz awards! The Thursday program for Jazz at J’s and B’s will be posted here soon.
Come and hear the stunning 1931 Walker Organ (restored David Wood, 2016) in this glorious church. St James and St Basil opened in 1930 and is recognised as a masterpiece amongst the great churches of the Arts and Crafts movement. We are also delighted to be to be hosting the Wethringsett Tudor Style Organ (2020 / 2021)
